Message to Moderator

Hello Moderator. My name is James Allan and this is my blog; it contains all of the work undertaken as part of the G324 A2 Coursework Portfolio Unit within the OCR CGE course in Media Studies. 

Our group chose to work by myself to produce a music video to the track "Olympic Airways" by British band "Foals". The project lasted six months, commencing in September 2014 and cumulating in March 2015 . There were also three weeks of progression work in June 2014 following the completion of the AS course.

I hope you enjoy our work and find it both successful and interesting.

Final Advert

This is our final advert. We changed it slightly from previous drafts by making the text at the bottom of the screen a lot smaller so that it would look more like like a professional advert and less cartoon like.

Final Digipak

This is the final edit of our Digipak. As you can see we have included the band name and album name, with songs on the back and and copyright details etc. The covers all show photos of the band with a pastil effect on the photos to make it a bit more interesting.

Evaluation in Progress

Today I started writing up our Question 4 answer. I have chosen to create it with PowerPoint and I am going to include things such as images and links to our video to make it more interactive and easier to read. So far I have included PhotoShop, YouTube and Final Cut as the media technologies that we used whilst creating our video.
